Equine dental floats at Surgical Holdings Veterinary, for horse teeth floating, have been developed in consultation with equine dentists and are available in a range of options including different head types, finishes, lightweight options, and flat shafts to aid the location of the blade. When a horse has its teeth floated the sharp enamel points that have developed on the sides of the teeth are removed leaving a smooth edge, making an even grinding pattern for the horse's chewing. All of our stainless steel veterinary equine dental floats are manufactured from 420 stainless steel in accordance with BS 5194. This ensures every equine dental float has the correct composition, to ensure they can be fit for purpose and perform the action they were designed for.
