Surgical Holdings Vision is to be recognised by our stakeholders as the most passionate, reliable and innovative high-quality surgical and veterinary instrument manufacturer and service provider in the UK.
Our Mission is to safely and ethically manufacture, service and supply Surgical Instruments for the Veterinary, Public and Private Healthcare Sector and provide accurate information, flexibility and continual quality improvement through our service and product.
Surgical Holdings was formed in 1988, the company is a family business run by Managing Director, Daniel Coole (a 4th generation surgical instrument maker) and his father, Chairman, Philip Coole who has been manufacturing veterinary and surgical instruments for over 50 years. The business has grown steadily in its current location, Southend-on-Sea in Essex, which is 50 miles outside of London.
Initially, a trade supplier, Surgical Holdings supplied the esteemed, high-quality V range for Arnolds Veterinary Products and is proud to be associated with this range of instruments that was widely regarded as the best quality in the veterinary marketplace. We have over 3000 instrument patterns, including all the original Arnolds V Range patterns, which we still manufacture today.
For the past 27 years Surgical Holdings has been successful in supplying its instruments to local veterinary surgeons and veterinary wholesalers, however, our main market development has been continuing to grow our portfolio and continual quality investment of instruments in the human surgical market.
We strive to supply the highest quality instruments on the market for the human surgical side and we believe Veterinary Surgeons should also be able to buy the same high-quality standard instrumentation at a reasonable price.
